Syllable S101 Plus: design, construction and battery
It’s impossible to talk about this Syllable without mentioning its great resemblance to the Blitzwolf FYE7.
The S101 Plus features a charging base that is matte-finished on most of the construction, which is less prone to marks and scratches.
This construction carries more metal, so it has a very powerful magnetic system.
In addition, it features 4 battery notification LEDs and also has a USB Type-C input for more efficient charging.
About the earphones, Syllable bet on a very different model that brings an elegant shade of gray and a great matte finish.
It has a construction facing the ear canal, which can favor the bass, in addition to having a physical button for touching the functions.
Although they’re pretty, they’re not very compact earphones. After all, they need a certain amount of space to store a battery that achieves no less than 12 hours of continuous music playback!
And on top of that, this earphone has advanced ipx6 waterproof protection.
Syllable S101 Plus: fixing
Despite having a protruding body, the Syllable S101 Plus surprised by being a very comfortable earphone, in addition to having a great fixation.
During our tests, it didn’t move even during the most brusque movements.
Syllable S101 Plus: how to pair with smartphone?
To pair the S101 Plus you need to open the charging base and remove the two earphones. Thus, they connect to each other and are already available in the Bluetooth list.
It’s important to point out that this model has simultaneous connection, that is, even if you keep one of the earphones in the base, the other will still work.

Syllable really delivered a complete earphone, as the S101 Plus brings all the functions we look for in a good Bluetooth earphone.
Default functions:

– 2 taps left: – volume
– 3 taps: virtual assistant
– press right 2s: skip music
– press left 2s: repeat
During a call:
– 1 tap: answer/end
– 2 taps: ignore
Syllable S101 Plus: Audio Test, Microphone Test and Delay Test
We can’t talk about sound quality without mentioning that the S101 Plus has support for Codec aptX.
This means that if your smartphone supports this technology, you will experience music quality that is very studio-like.
In our audio quality test, the Syllable S101 Plus delivered a great stereo effect!
This earphone has a great volume level and all tones are present.
Although the bass is more prominent, none of the tones are blown out at full volume.
In the microphone test, it delivered very clean audio and virtually no interference!
The volume level isn’t the highest, but it’s a great microphone for any purpose.
Finally, we ran our delay test and put its advanced 5.2 Bluetooth chipset to the test!
And once again, we were surprised by the Syllable S101 Plus’ impeccable performance, as it didn’t show any delay even when running heavy games on an entry-level smartphone.

Yes, it deserves the fame!
Despite having a very similar design to the FYE7, the S101 Plus is a much improved earphone.
It carries a great 12 hours of playback time and still delivers a great stereo effect.
Plus, it has an advanced Bluetooth that guarantees zero delay on entry level smartphones.
And finally, this stylish earphone has a microphone that can be used professionally.
