QCY T16: design, construction and battery
Of course, we would open our review by talking about the stylish design of the QCY T16!
In addition, the base features a Type-C USB port for faster and more efficient charging, and it also has a notification LED that changes color according to battery level.
The QCY T16 earphones, on the other hand, have the famous “bean” design, a construction that conquers for its beauty and versatility, after all, this model allows the earpiece to mold itself to different ear canals.
And despite being very light and small, the QCY T16 achieves a great autonomy of 5.5 hours of continuous music playback, at medium volume.
Unfortunately, QCY has not officially released the protection for the water resistance of this model, but as they always add a protection, we believe it is the ipx4.
Therefore, the earphones are probably protected against sweating and splashing water.
QCY T16: how to pair with smartphone?
And then, just confirm the connection!
QCY T16: functions
In it, you can customize the equalizer to make the earphone to your musical taste, and you can even replace the default functions.

QCY T16: fixation
Another benefit of the “bean” format is that these earpieces typically have a good grip. However, sometimes they can be very large and become uncomfortable during prolonged use.
During our test, it remained very well shaped in the ears even during the most blunt movements, which means it can make a good exercise companion.
QCY T16: audio test, microphone test and delay test
QCY usually does not disappoint in terms of audio, especially when added to Codec aptX.
This Codec is responsible for delivering impeccable sound quality, where the music is exactly as it was recorded in the studio.
So we put the sound quality of the QCY T16 to the test and, once again, were impressed by this guy.
It delivers a super immersive experience, a great volume level, and a great stereo effect.
With or without aptX, this earphone delivers very well-defined tones and extremely powerful bass, which guarantees a great sound experience in different musical styles.
Now it’s time to discover that Qualcomm’s Bluetooth 5.2 really is unbeatable!
To make the most of this chipset, we ran a FPS game on an entry-level smartphone with very basic hardware.
And the result of that was a super synchronized sound feedback that made us very happy.
After all, if we already had zero delay on an entry-level smartphone, imagine a more advanced one?
And to close with a flourish, we did the long-awaited microphone test!
And of course the QCY wouldn’t let us down, so it delivered a microphone with a great volume level, zero muffling and very little interference.
This may not be the best microphone of the brand, but it surpasses the vast majority of competitors and can even be used for videoconferences.
QCY T16: is it worth it?
The QCY T16 brings a super comfortable design that has an excellent finish.
In addition to being beautiful and having a great autonomy, this earphone also delivers an enviable sound quality, even more in partnership with Codec aptX.
And as a highlight, this little earpiece proved to have a perfect combination of Bluetooth and Gamer mode, as it guaranteed zero delay on an entry-level smartphone.
Finally, the QCY T16 carries a great microphone that will make the difference.
