Nokia arrived showing what it came with an elegant white charging base that has a great matte finish.
This is the best type of finish as it is less prone to marks and therefore the earpiece has a longer durability.
In addition, the base has 4 LEDs for battery notification and has a USB Type-C input for more efficient charging.
The E3101 features super compact rubberless earphone that have an ear canal construction.
And because it has such a small body, this earphone achieves a autonomy of 5 hours of continuous music playback.
This may seem like a small battery, but it’s about average and it’s a good capacity considering the size of the earphones.
As a bonus, the E3101 has Ip44 protection against splashing water and sweat.
Nokia E3101: how to pair with smartphone?
One of the qualities of this Nokia is that it features automatic simultaneous connection.
So even if you leave one of the earpieces in the base, the other will still work.
To pair the E3101, simply remove the earphones from the charging base.
Thus, they connect to each other and are available in the Bluetooth list.

In this test, we simulated sudden movements to see if the earpieces fall or move from the ears, which usually happens in this type of construction.
But, the E3101 surprised us by staying well fixed and molded to the ears.
So, this model can be used even during physical exercises!
Nokia E3101: Audio Test, Delay Test and Microphone Test
It’s time to find out if Nokia makes quality earphones!
In the sound quality test, the E3101 delivered a good volume level and very well defined tones.
However, it brings the sound we call “Flat”, where none of the tones stand out.
So, we can hear the bass, mids and trebles in tune, which may not please those who like powerful bass.
In our delay test, we tested the 5.1 chipset of the E3101.
And again, this may or may not be a good earphone.
Unfortunately, it had a subtle delay when running FPS games on an entry-level smartphone.
But, remember that this type of smartphone has simple hardware, so the result is quite different on more advanced devices.
So if you have an advanced intermediate or high-end smartphone, you won’t have any delays.
Look, this delay is not noticed in videos, right?
Finally, we did the long-awaited microphone test and had a pleasant surprise!
The microphones on the Nokia E3101 deliver clean audio at a good volume level.
It has no hiss and very little noise, so it can be used even in video conferences.
