Galaxy A72: Review!

Samsung’s newest bet, the Galaxy A72 promises to be a great cost-benefit!

Boasting an elegant and authorial design, this mid-range smartphone promises to deliver superior technology, great photos and impeccable gaming performance. Really?

Check out the complete analysis with the main positives and negatives of this smartphone:

Galaxy A72: design and construction

The Galaxy A72 starts showing what it came for, as it carries a very authorial and elegant design.

Even though it’s made entirely out of plastic, this smartphone has a great matte finish that guarantees fewer scratches and fingerprints.

Also, this construction allows the A72 to weigh only 7.26oz even though it has a 6.7″ screen!

And as a bonus, the device has a 3.5 mm output for conventional headphones.

At the rear of the construction, we have 4 cameras in the upper left corner.

The selfie camera is located in the center of the screen.
This camera is responsible for the facial unlock of the smartphone.

Speaking of unlocking, the biometric reader is at the bottom of the screen.

In our tests, both the biometric and the facial unlock did very well. Even the facial unlock works perfectly in low light conditions.

A detail that needs attention is its chip entry. We can use 2 chips simultaneously, but we can’t expand the device’s memory in the meantime.

Finally, the A72 has ip67 protection that guarantees that the smartphone can be submerged up to 3.28ft for 30 minutes!

Galaxy A72: screen

With a large 6.7″ screen that features FullHD resolution and Amoled technology, the Galaxy A72 promises a great multimedia experience.

Amoled technology makes it virtually impossible to distinguish a black dot from the edge of this smartphone. In fact, the model has 84.9% of screen usage.

It brings a response rate of 90Hz, a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels, plus a maximum brightness capability of 800 nits.

This combination delivers a high resolution screen with very vivid and intense colors, in addition to allowing good readability even in sunlight.

Plus, this big screen carries the Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

Galaxy A72: hardware and software

The Galaxy A72 brings a gaming-focused processor, the Snapdragon 720G.

This processor has only 8 nanometers, that is, it has little spacing between transistors, so it has better performance in everyday life or during games.

It also carries an Adreno 618 graphics card, and even has 6GB RAM capacity!

The union of this hardware and software generates a high-speed fluidity. That’s why the Galaxy A72 performed very well in our multitasking test and also in the gaming test.

In the multitasking test, even opening heavy applications simultaneously, there was no crash.

And in the gaming test, the Galaxy A72 proved to be a great smartphone for Gamers as it runs even the heaviest games like Genshin Impact.
