Galaxy S20 FE vs Galaxy A72! Which one is worth more? Comparative!

If you’ve made it this far, it’s probably because you’re wondering: Should I buy a high-end smartphone from last year, or would it be better to invest in an advanced intermediate this year?

Calm down, know that you are not alone! After all, technologies evolve from one year to the next and, therefore, this is a common question among the public looking for a great smartphone.

To find out once and for all which one meets your needs, follow our complete comparison:

Design and Construction Comparison

We open our analysis by highlighting the similarity in design of these two models.
They are classic and timeless designs that never go out of style, as well as being very beautiful.

Both smartphones have plastic as the protagonist.

However, there is a difference in the strength of their structure, as the Galaxy S20FE has a aluminum frame while the Galaxy A72 frame is all plastic.

Both models also come with hybrid card drawers, so we have to choose whether to expand the memory or use two chips at the same time.

And still speaking of finish, both smartphones have great protections for water resistance.

The Galaxy A72 brings a protection that allows the smartphone to be submerged up to 1 meter (3 ft).
Already S20FE has a more advanced protection and can be submerged in 1.5 mts (5 ft) for 30 minutes.

Screens Comparison

Another cruel question is the choice between the screens of these two smartphones. After all, both deliver excellent visual quality and bring Super AMOLED technology.

Let’s start with the Galaxy S20FE which features a 6.5 Super AMOLED screen.

This screen has a 120Hz refresh rate, so it is an extremely fast screen.

It also features HDR10, a technology that generates a richer experience in streaming services.

In addition, we have a 84.8% usability rate and 407 pixels per inch.

As a result, it performs very well on a screen with a large number of pixels per inch, which delivers incredibly sharp images.

The A72 features a Super AMOLED screen that is slightly larger and has 6.7 inches.

It has a great 90Hz refresh rate, but it’s not as fast as the S20FE.

Plus, this screen has an 84.4% use rate. So the leverage is slightly lower, but it’s also a very good rate.

And here we have 394 pixels per inch, so that’s also a lot of pixels for a super sharp image.

Hardware Comparison

To talk about hardware, we need to point out that there are two smartphones from different categories:
The Galaxy S20FE is a high-end smartphone, while the A72 is an advanced intermediate.

However, as we mentioned before, technology evolves and we need to know if it is more worthwhile to invest in a current smartphone or in a superior one.

The S20FE brings the Snapdragon 865 and carries an Adreno 650 graphics card.
The union of this hardware and software guarantees a high fluidity in games and videos.

So it performed very well in our tests where Asphalt 9 ran smooth at high standard quality for 6 hours and with 120Hz active.

In the multitasking test,it did not show any kind of delay. On the contrary, it opened all the applications very quickly, even doing retakes.

Galaxy A72 brings a gaming-focused processor, the 8-nanometer Snapdragon 720G, and has an Adreno 618 card. And just like the S20FE, it has a capacity of 6GB of RAM!

The marriage of this hardware and software delivers great fluidity in any game.

So, the A72 performed very well running Asphalt 9 smooth in high standard quality for 6 hours with the 90Hz feature active.

And while it’s not as fast as the S20FE, it’s able to open a multitude of applications simultaneously without crashing.

Camera Comparison

Well, the Galaxy A72’s camera draws more attention because it has more megapixels than the S20FE’s.

However, not always having megapixels means good photos, because the photographic quality also depends on the union between camera and hardware.

After all, which is worth it?

Well, it’s important to remember that each person has a different need. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze what you are really looking for in a smartphone.

Both the A72 and the S20FE have plastic frames, which ensures very light smartphones.

In addition, both bring great waterproof protection, but the S20FE is superior.

Both smartphones have Super AMOLED screens, but the A72’s screen is slightly larger. However, the S20FE brings a better response rate and usability rate.

They also bring great gaming processors, in addition to having similar graphics cards and the same RAM memory capacity.

Lastly, the fight is fierce when it comes to cameras, but the A72 seems to actually deliver sharper shots.

Anyway, you need to know what you’re looking for on a smartphone!
