Galaxy M52 5G Review!

Galaxy M52 5G: a mid-range smartphone that promises advanced performance!

The newest Samsung bet promises a stutter-free performance that will please all audiences, including gamers. Will it be true?

Discover everything this mid-range smartphone has to offer:

Galaxy M52 5G: design and construction

The Galaxy M52 5G brings a very beautiful and very contemporary “clean” design.

In addition to elegance, this smartphone has a very thin and light construction, weighing only 173g (6,10oz), which guarantees user comfort during prolonged use.

All the lightness of the Galaxy M52 5G is due to the fact that it has both the frame and the construction made of plastic, which does not mean that it is not a quality device.

After all, Samsung gave us Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front and back of this model, so it’s protected from scratches and small drops.

But since it’s not always a bed of roses, the Galaxy M52 5G features a hybrid card drawer, that is, we have to choose between using two chips or expanding the smartphone’s memory.

Another “negative point” is that it doesn’t have a 3.5mm input for conventional headphones, but this is already becoming a worldwide trend.

As a bonus, the power button carries a very responsive biometric unlock.

Galaxy M52 5G: screen

With a large 6.7″ Super AMOLED+ display, the Galaxy M52 5G promises a great multimedia experience.

The Super AMOLED+ technology makes it practically impossible to distinguish a black dot from the edge of the device. The combination of a maximum brightness of 674 nits with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels makes this display perfect for enjoying games and videos.

And as usual, Samsung has given us a high resolution screen with very vivid and intense colors, and which still has great readability even in sunlight.

On top of all that, this screen has an excellent 120Hz response rate, so we can barely notice the updates.

Galaxy M52 5G: hardware and software

As you may know, the Galaxy M52 5G carries a set of advanced mid-range hardware.

Therefore, it features the Snapdragon 778 5G processor that guarantees a crash-free smartphone.

And this was very evident during our daily use test, where we were able to open several applications at the same time without any problem.

This processor is only 6 nanometers, that is, it has little spacing between the transistors, so it performs well in everyday life and even during games.

In addition, it carries the Adreno 642L, which is a mid-range graphics card that also left nothing to be desired. After all, even though FPS games dropped a few times, we had a pretty fluid experience most of the time.

Finally, the Galaxy M52 5g has a great RAM memory of 6 GB and a large internal storage of 128 GB, expandable via microSD card.

Galaxy M52 5G: battery

The Galaxy M52 5G has a very generous 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging.

Samsung promises that this battery can last for 2 days of moderate use, so we went to test it during games!

And in our tests done with 120Hz on and 50% brightness, we got the good mark of 7 hours of continuous use.

Galaxy M52 5G: Cameras

The Galaxy M52 5G brings an excellent set of cameras that made us quite curious.

The protagonist here is a 64MP main camera that has an aperture of f/1.8.

This means we have excellent night shots, as it brings a larger aperture and allows more light to enter.

We have to say that we were blown away by the quality of these cameras!

Camera set:

64 MP, f/1.8, 26mm (wide)
12 MP, f/2.2, 123° (ultrawide)
5 MP, f/2.4 (macro)

Front camera:

32 MP, f/2.2, 26mm (wide)

Recording:

4K@30fps, 1080p@30/60fps (gyro-EIS)
