There’s no other way to start this review without talking about the design of the Edifier Hecate GT4 first.
Edifier’s newest gaming earphone features a super-stylish spaceship-shaped charging base that features two color-changing RGB LEDs.
Plus, the base has an excellent matte finish, which provides greater durability to the product, and also has a USB Type C port for faster and more efficient charging.
The Edifier Hecate GT4 also features two beautiful elongated earphones that have RGB LEDs and have a construction aimed at the ear canal, so we should have good bass gain.
And to guarantee hours of fun, this gaming earphone has an autonomy of 7 hours of continuous playback, and as a bonus, it comes with ip55 protection that protects even from a rain shower.

Edifier Hecate GT4: Fixation Test
We opened our tests with the fitting test, where the Edifier Hecate GT4 proved to be a super comfortable earphone that molds very well to the ears. That means you can use it for walks or even a run, without worrying about it falling off.
Edifier Hecate GT4: Audio Test, Steps, Delay and Microphone
And it’s time to find out if the sound partnership made by Edifier really worked.
In our audio test, the Edifier Hecate GT4 proved to be an excellent gaming earphone, delivering a good volume level and equalized sound quality, with balanced and very well defined tones.
This equality of tones may not be very good for those who like explosive bass, but it is perfect for the gamer audience, as it allows the player to feel all the stimuli of the game.
And as proof of that, the Edifier Hecate GT4 did very well in our step test, as it was able to perfectly deliver the enemy’s location through its surround effect.
But, as a gaming earphone doesn’t just depend on audio, we did the long-awaited delay test and, once again, the Edifier Hecate GT4 showed what it came for.
In our test done with an entry-level smartphone, it was able to deliver zero delay during FPS games, thanks to its advanced 5.2 chipset.
So even if you have a simpler smartphone, this earphone will be a great partner.
Finally, we did a microphone test to find out if the Edifier Hecate GT4 also guarantees good conversation during games.
And despite not being perfect, it delivered a very clear audio, with a great volume level, little muffling and very little interference.
Edifier Hecate GT4: is it worth it?
If you are looking for a good earphone to play with, this is an excellent choice!
The Edifier Hecate GT4 features a stylish and durable design that ensures a long lifespan for the earphones.
And as it was developed for the gamer audience, it brings a balanced sound quality that allows us to receive all the stimuli of the games, so we can distinguish the enemy’s location.
In addition, it has good microphones for conversation and still guarantees zero delay, regardless of the level of your smartphone.
