And Blitzwolf launched a Bluetooth earphone with a super simple design, but that promises surprising quality.
The BW-FYE13 features simultaneous connection, Codec aptX support and guarantees to deliver an immersive sound experience and an enhanced microphone. Will be?
Find out if this is all true in our review:
BW-FYE13: design, construction and battery
The first thing that catches your eye on the BW-FYE13 is its “chubby” charging base.
Despite not being very practical to transport, this base has a great matte finish that ensures greater durability.
In addition, it has a USB Type-C input for faster charging and even has 4 battery level notification LEDs.
The FYE13’s earphones are also big, which explains the exaggerated size of the base.
On the other hand, this bigger body guarantees 8 hours of continuous music playback.
These earphones also have a more ear canal-oriented construction, which can mean a bass gain.
And as a bonus, the BW-FYE13 has ipx5 protection against directed jets of water.
BW-FYE13: how to pair with smartphone?
The BW-FYE13 has automatic simultaneous connection. This means the earphones work independently and connect automatically.
So, just remove the earphones from the charging base and they connect to each other and are available in the Bluetooth list. So, just confirm the connection!

Whenever we think about buying a earphone with such a bulky body, we need to remember if we’ve ever used one that had such a large construction.
Here in my ear, it didn’t fit very well and fell out during the fixation test.
But, it is noteworthy that the fixation varies greatly depending on the size of your ear canal. Therefore, your experience may be completely different from mine.
BW-FYE13: audio test, microphone test and delay test
Before talking about music, we need to remember that this earphone supports Codec aptX.
This means that if your smartphone is compatible, you will have studio-like music quality.
We need to be honest and say that we were concerned about sound quality as the BW-FYE13 didn’t show a good fixation.
However, it delivered a great stereo effect with very well defined tones and incredibly powerful bass.
Plus, this earphone has an excellent volume level and doesn’t burst tones even when it’s at full power.
Anyway, the BW-FYE13 has a super immersive sound quality that is perfect for enjoying music, games and videos!
In our delay test, we put Qualcoom’s Bluetooth 5.2 chipset to the test.
Unfortunately, the BW-FYE13 showed a subtle 0.2 second delay when running FPS games on an entry-level smartphone.
But, this delay was only noticed in the shooting sequences, so you won’t notice it during lighter videos or games.
So if you have a mid-range or top-of-the-line smartphone, you won’t have lag.
Finally, we did the microphone test, which is often a problem with Blitzwolf.
And luckily, we realized that Blitzwolf has really been investing in their microphones.
The BW-FYE13 delivered virtually noise-free audio, with little hiss, little muffling and a good volume level.
That’s why this microphone can even be used in video calls!
BW-FYE13: is it worth it?
Yes it’s worth it!
Despite having a super big design that didn’t quite fit, the BW-FYE13 surprised us with its excellent sound quality.
And if you have an advanced mid-range smartphone, you won’t have any delays with this earphone, even running the heaviest games.
Finally, this is one of the few Blitzwolf microphones we can recommend to you!
