The BW-FYE11 is the newest bet from BliztWolf to beat the competition. This earphone promises to make a lot of noise, but without losing quality!
With hybrid noise cancellation technology, it guarantees deep musical immersion. Really?
See if the BW-FYE11 really delivers on its promises:
BW-FYE11: design, construction and battery
The BW-FYE11 starts calling attention for having a different design from the other BlitzWolf.
Its charging base has a matte black finish, which guarantees greater durability.
On the front, just below the logo, it has 4 battery level notification LEDs.
This base also features a Type-C USB port for faster and more efficient charging.
The BW-FYE11 earphones have a format inspired by the Apple AirPods Pro.
The earphones have a mostly matte finish, but with very elegant details in brilliant. Its design is directed towards the ear canal, which improves the musical quality.
The longer body favors the battery, which, when used at medium volume and with the ANC inactive, guarantees an autonomy of up to 6.5 hours of continuous music playback. Anyway, the model has a large battery, as it guarantees a minimum of 5.5 hours of use.
Over water resistance, the earphones have Ipx4 protection. It is not a very advanced protection, but it does ensure that the earphones resist an accidental drizzle.
BW-FYE11: how to pair with the smartphone?
To pair the BW-FYE11, just open the charging base and remove both earphones at the same time. Thus, they connect to each other and are already available in the Bluetooth list.
So, just confirm the connection!
The new BlitzWolf model has all the functions we need in a earphone.
Even if they do not disclose, we can increase and decrease the volume by rolling the side of the earphones. And although it comes with a factory setting, all touches can be changed in the app!
2 taps right/left: pause/unpause
3 taps right: pass the music
3 taps left: resume music
press 2s right: ANC Modes
press 2s left: virtual assistant
In our fixation test, both earphones remained fixed even with sudden movements. This is very important for us to be able to use them with confidence on the street or during sports.
In addition, a very fixed earphone contributes to good sound quality!
BW-FYE11: audio test, microphone test and delay test
Now it’s time to find out if the noise cancellation modes (ANC) really work! After all, this would be the biggest compensation for the investment in these eaephones, since they are more expensive.
By activating the first mode, the Indoor mode, the noise from the room and ceiling ventilation simply disappeared! This mode is to “cancel out” the noise of indoor environments, and ensure a very immersive musical experience.
As the model also has Transparent cancellation, we put it to the test, and it did not disappoint! The external mode is to be used on the street, because with it we can listen to our music without the sound masking the external noises. After all, we need to be aware of the horns, other people and the different sounds that inform us of the danger.
Regarding the sound quality test that was done with the ANC indoor, the first noticeable thing was the excellent volume level of the earphones. It does not burst the tones even when it is at maximum!
As with most of the brand’s earphones, the bass is more prominent, but all other tones are present and are very clear. Besides it has an incredible stereo effect.
In our long awaited microphone test, the BW-FYE11 transmitted audio with great volume, but unfortunately it has some noises and hisses. It is nothing so serious as to prevent its use, even in videoconferences, but we expected a little more.
Finally, in our delay test, the earphones had a slight delay of about 0.5 seconds when tested on a basic smartphone, the Galaxy A01. But, when the test was performed on an intermediary, the Pixel 4A, there was no sound delay!
BW-FYE11: is it worth it?
The big question about the BW-FYE11 is whether it is really worth the investment, as it has a slightly higher value than the other models of the brand. Fortunately, I can say that it is worth it!
It has an elegant and bold design that has a great fixation. In addition, the model has a good stereo effect and great musical quality, which is even more immersive with the ANC mode.
The model sins, but not entirely, only in the delay and in the microphone. However, the delay is so subtle that it will only be noticed in FPS games on entry-level smartphones.
The microphone is not the best there is, but there has been a great evolution in this BlitzWolf model!
